Julio Sánchez, like most of his classmates, began when he came out of elementary school in the town of Ahome, Sinaloa. At 60 years old, he has extensive experience in the sea, shrimp fishing gear and the problems that have accumulated for decades in communities regarding the provision of subsidies (economic resources).
