The waters of Isla Natividad are monitored 24 hours a day. On land, each member of the Cooperative Society for Fishery Production Divers and Fishermen of Baja California must spend at least one day a month in a room, located in the center of the island, where screens project information provided by radar via satellite. Two other radars have come to replace the lookouts in the north and south of the island. While in the water, the fishermen have two boats and a team of temporary paid collaborators, who do regular night rounds.
