A group of women restores baby clams in Kino Bay, Sonora

The Mujeres del Mar de Cortés cooperative is bringing life back to the Laguna-Estero de La Cruz through the repopulation of baby clams (rice clams), monitoring and citizen surveillance. Their greatest motivation is to inherit a source of work, food and a healthy ecosystem to their family and community.
