Repemar was formed in 2022 with the commitment to provide a training platform for journalists specialized in seas and coasts. Since then it has added more than 70 members and multiple stories have been produced with their support.
If I am already part of Repemar can I participate in the workshop?
Yes, those who are part of Repemar are welcome to reapply.
If another colleague from the same environment applied can I do it too?
Yes, there is no impediment for more than one person from the same environment to apply.
Why participate?
While the challenges of marine ecosystems are gaining relevance and urgency, there are few opportunities to immerse ourselves in the reporting of these ecosystems in a country with more than 11,000 kilometers of coastline, this is a safe space for coexistence and learning for us to build environmental journalism closer to the seas in Mexico.
Where do I send my application?
When will the results be announced?
This will depend on the number of applications. We expect to have the results in the first or second week after the deadline for the call.
