Until May 2020, shrimp production had accumulated 6.763 million pesos, with an unloaded weight of 51.133 tons. Between 2015 and 2019, the average production of this species was 209,941 tons in unloaded weight. The average value of this production was 16.741 million pesos. The states that stood out in their production were Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California and Baja California Sur.
As for the Sardine, up to May 2020, the production landed was 367,393 tons with a value of 701 million pesos. During the period 2015-2019, the average production in terms of unloaded weight was 484,151 tons. The year that stood out for having a better production was 2017 with a landlocked weight of 636,519 tons. However, 2019 was the year where the highest production value was obtained, reaching 980 million pesos. In addition, the state that stands out for having the highest production of this species is Sonora.
