A citizen's quest for fish, seafood and sustainability

When we talk about improving our habits as responsible consumers, there is a lot of talk about trying to consume products from companies that comply with better environmental and social practices. The issue of fishing and the consumption of fish and seafood is no exception. To promote better fishing practices that protect the environment and benefit fishing communities, we as consumers should seek to purchase fish products that come from producers and distributors with good management practices and that seek the sustainability of fisheries and marine ecosystems.
